Calabar Nigeria Stake Reorganization

 

The leadership of Calabar Nigeria Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was reorganized today Sunday, September 23, 2012, in Aba.  A stake is a group of congregations similar to diocese.
 
 
Elder Joseph W. Sitati who was accompanied by Elder Ekong reorganized the stake leadership. The reorganizations were witnessed by members and non-members in attendance.
 
CALABAR NIGERIA STAKE: (May 27,2012) President – Victor Offiong Bassey, 43, university lecturer; succeeding Solomon Abegim Asha; wife, Uche Victor Bassey. Counselors – Walter Iferi Ibon Obeten, 43, civil servant; wife, Jane Walter Obeten. Abam Etim Ekpenyong, 34, public servant; wife, Glory Abam Ekpenyong.
