Church Sinks Borehole for Abia Polytechnic

Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, has benefited from the benevolence of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Aba, as the Church provided the institution with a water borehole and surface tank of 5000 litres holding capacity.

The Church also donated Wheelchairs, Crutches and Walking aids to the needy through the Aba City Lions Club.

Frances Nmeribe, president of the Church in Aba, who made the presentations at a brief ceremony, held at the premises of the Polytechnic, affirmed that the Church likes to associate with a place where there is progress.  The cleric acknowledged the contribution of the institution to the development of people in the area.
